Axis Special Situations Fund NFO
Axis Mutual Fund has announced the launch of Axis Special Situations Fund. The fund is a thematic and multi-cap/sector fund. So, the scheme would be investing in equity and equity-related instruments based on the thematic scheme type as it will be targeting the specific segments of the market.
The New Fund Offer (NFO) starts from 4th December 2020 and will end on 18th December 2020.

Investment Objective
The investment objective of the scheme is to provide long-term capital appreciation from a portfolio that is invested in equity and equity-related securities based on some special situations happening in the market like regulatory changes, company-specific changes, sector dynamics, new technologies, global events and many more.
What is Thematic Investing?
Thematic investing is a type of investing in which the investments are done only in stocks which have an underlying theme.
For example, an IT theme, will only invest in IT and technologies related companies.
