ICICI Prudential Flexicap Fund NFO
ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund has announced the launch of the ICICI Prudential Flexicap Fund. The scheme would be predominantly investing its assets in large-cap, mid-cap, and small-cap companies.
The New Fund Offer (NFO) starts on 28th June 2021 and will end on 12th July 2021.
Investment Objective
The scheme’s investment objective is to generate long-term capital growth by investing its assets in equity and equity-related securities of large-cap, mid-cap, and small-cap companies.
Features
- The fund will be investing a minimum of 65% of its assets in the equity and equity-related securities of every market capitalization.
- The fund may allocate its asset in debt or money market instruments, units of InvITs, and REITs.
- The fund can invest in any companies across the market capitalizations & sectors.
- The fund does not have any restriction to allocate its assets across market capitalization.
Portfolio Construction Process
- Investment Philosophy - Fund aims to invest across the market opportunities through its in-house market cap model.
- Investment Approach - Fund will use top-down approach for identification of large-cap stocks while bottom-up approach for mid and small-cap stocks.
- Stock selection - Stocks will be selected on various factors like Macros, Company Fundamentals, Valuations, etc.
- Investment Process - Fund managers will invest across the market depending upon the attractiveness.
- Investment Universe - Opportunities will be identified from the universe of S&P BSE 500.
- Re-Balancing - The portfolio will be periodically re-balanced as per the in-house market cap model.
