About Nippon India Mutual Fund
Nippon India Mutual Fund was previously known as Reliance mutual fund. It has been registered with SEBI since June 1995. The change in name was effective from March 2004 when Japan’s Nippon Life insurance has changed the name of Reliance Nippon Like AMC after acquiring a 75% stake in the entity. It is now called as Nippon India Mutual Fund as it has become the sole promoted. It is one of India’s leading fund houses with an AUM of over 2.35 lakh Crores and a presence in 320+ cities. The primary vision of Nippon India is to carry the activity and operations of mutual funds as per the compliance and devise and formulate various collective schemes of investments for citizens of India.
