Kotak NASDAQ 100 FOF is a fund of funds scheme launched by Kotak Mutual Funds. The NFO of the fund is open from the 11th of January 2021 till the 25th of January 2021. This fund will be investing its assets in units of overseas ETFs and/or Index funds based on the NASDAQ 100 Index.
Kotak NASDAQ 100 FoF offers exposure to the world’s most innovative & largest companies not listed in India. It gives diversification benefits to investors because of the low correlation between the domestic & US markets. The NASDAQ 100 Index is well known for its underlying technology stocks like Apple, Microsoft, Netflix, and many more which have been able to generate high returns for investors in the past. Kotak NASDAQ 100 FOF will closely replicate the returns generated by the NASDAQ 100 Index, subject to tracking errors. The minimum application amount is Rs. 5,000. Additional investments can be made with Rs. 1,000. For SIP investments, the minimum amount is Rs.1,000 with a minimum of 6 installments. No exit load is applicable on redemption of the units from the fund. The tax on Kotak NASDAQ 100 FOF is as per non-equity.
