In this video we have discussed the UTI Midcap Fund. The fund falls in the midcap category of equity funds and is offered by UTI Mutual Funds. Such funds invest predominantly in shares of companies ranking between 101st and 250th in terms of market cap.
Due to the high inflation and the impending Russia-Ukraine conflict, the fund has given negative returns in the last few months. However, this may be a good time to start or increase SIP investments in Midcaps.
The NAV for the UTI Midcap Fund as on 24th February 2022 was Rs.170.1492.
