What is SBI YONO?

YONO is an initiative by the State Bank of India to offer its services using digital technology through launching the “YONO App” for mobile and the “YONO website” for desktop access. The digital banking app is a one-stop solution for amenities like banking, investments, shopping, applying for loans, opening savings accounts, and more.  

YONO stands for “ You Only Need One” which implies that SBI customers would just need one application for accessing all the products & services offered by the SBI- backed entities and joint Venture offerings or its other businesses. Customers can access all their products & services including SBI bank account, SBI Life Insurance, SBI Card, SBI Mutual Fund, SBI General Insurance, SBI Securities by using YONO App & Website.

How to register on SBI Yono App via internet banking details?

1. Install SBI YONO app from App Store or Play Store.
2. Launch the app.
3. Select “existing customer” and click “Login using internet banking”.
4. On the next page, enter your credentials i.e “User ID & password”.
5. Then to make an MPIN, select & click “Next”.
6. Choose the 6-digit MPin of your choice and click “Next”, an OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number
7. Enter OTP and click “Next”
8. Done, You’ve successfully registered for the SBI YONO app.

How to register on SBI Yono App? (For users with internet banking services not activated)

1. Launch the SBI Yono app.
2. For those customers who don’t have their internet banking activated, click on “Register with My ATM Card”.
3. Enter the required information including your Bank account number & CIF number. Click “Submit”.
4. Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number and click “Submit”.
5. Then enter your “ATM Card number and PIN” and click “Submit”. Review your bank account information displayed on-screen & click “Next”.
6. Then create a temporary password for using the internet banking facility.
7. After that, you will receive a text message with the information of your temporary User ID & password.
8. On the home page, select “Existing Customer” and enter your credentials i.e “User ID & password” to log-in.
9. Then you will be redirected to a page asking you to create a new “User ID” & “Password”. Then “Continue”.
10. To make a MPIN, select “MPIN” & click “Next”.
11. Choose the 6-digit MPIN of your choice and click “Next”, an OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number
12. Enter OTP and click “Next”
13. Done, You’ve successfully registered for the SBI YONO app.

How to Open Account via YONO?

1. Log in to the SBI YONO app and click on “New to SBI”.
2. The next screen will display two options along with their features: Digital Savings Account’ & ‘Insta Savings Account’. Choose the account which is suitable as per your requirements.
3. Once you have chosen the account, click on ‘Apply Now’
4. On the next page select “Apply Now" and click on “Next” at the below.
5. Read the product information & keep your Aadhaar & PAN Card ready to enter details as & when required.
6. Fill your personal information including email id, full name, mobile number  & other details.
7. Click ‘Submit

How to Send Money via SBI YONO?

1. Login into SBI YONO app
2. On the homescreen, select the “YONO Pay” option.
3. Then choose the “Bank Account” option for transferring money into another account, select ‘Beneficiary’ and enter the required details.
4. Enter transaction amount.
5. Authenticate the transaction with MPin.

How to withdraw money via the SBI YONO app?

1. Login into SBI YONO app using MPin or your Internet Banking credentials.
2. On the homescreen, select the “YONO Cash” option or go to the “YONO Pay” option & select “YONO Cash”.
3. Then select one of the options for withdrawing money: ATM, Merchant POS, or Customer Service Points (CSP).
4. Enter Amount on the next page and click on “Next”.
5. Create a 6-digit YONO Cash PIN for making the transaction. On the next page, tick the “I agree” option and select “Confirm”.
6. A 6-digit verification code will be sent to your registered mobile number which would be valid for 30 minutes.
7. At an ATM or Cash Point, you can opt for the “Cashless Withdrawal” option.
8. Enter the verification code and also put the YONO Cash PIN whenever required.

SBI YONO Loan - If you are qualified for a pre-approved loan, it can be easily obtained via the YONO app. The procedure to apply for a loan is easy on the YONO app and can be done anytime as per requirements. SBI offers pre-approved personal loans to some customers based on pre-defined criteria depending upon their credibility, income, or other banking information.

How to Apply for SBI YONO Loan?

1. Log in to the SBI YONO app
2. Visit the “Loan” section in the SBI YONO app.
3. Select the “Pre-approved loan” option displayed on your mobile screen.(If you’re pre-approved for getting loans, it will be reflected on your interface)
4. Choose the amount & tenure of the loan.
5. Click “Next”
6. An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number.
7. Enter the OTP on the required field and submit.
8. That’s it, Your loan will be approved.

SBI YONO Lite - YONO Lite is a mobile banking application by SBI for its retail customers. YONO Lite SBI can be downloaded from the App Store & Google Play Store. SBI offers customer support in different languages including Hindi and English. You can log in with your internet banking credentials or register as a new user. The app is very user friendly and comes with a variety of features to provide you a quality banking experience on mobile phones.
